Terms of Service

By using the services of serenasstuff.com, and by contracting my services, either verbally, by email or in writing you accept and agree to the following terms:

Payment/Deposits/Fees:

* For orders under $100.00 payment must be made in advance of any work beginning unless otherwise discussed.
* For orders of  $100.00 and over, a 50% nonrefundable deposit  must be made before the start of any work unless otherwise discussed.
* No work will be delivered until payment is made in full
* Price for additional work and changes will be negotiated at which time the request is made.
* Payment is due within 3 days of completion and approval of project. Payments not made within this time frame are subject to a $25.00 late fee.
( If you anticipate not being able to make full payment in a timely manner, please inform me before I begin your project so that I can prioritize my time accordingly and save you from unnecessary fees. )
*Projects not paid in full within 30 days will forfeit their deposit and will have to pay for a new order. You will be notified in advanced that you're files are subject to deletion from my computer/server.
* Maintenance fees if applicable will be discussed during our initial consultation

What I need from you:

* I need for you to have some idea of what you want. I will do my best during our consultation to help you with your ideas. I am available to help with development at an additional charge.
* I must be provided with all content for your project before I begin any work. You will be given a list of what I need at the end of our initial consultation. Please submit these items to me when you make your payment/deposit.
* I will need to know your expected deadline.
* I will need for you to understand that while I am very good at working independently there will be times during the development of your project that I will need to communicate with you. Clients who ignore my communication attempts run the risk of having their projects delayed. Please answer my emails in a timely manner.
* I will need for you to only provide me with content that you own. If at anytime I find out that your content contains plagiarized material or copy written work that you are not authorized to use I will stop work immediately and keep your deposit. No money will be refunded - If you are having a hard time with your written material - inquire about my content writing services.


What you can expect from me:

* Fast, courteous, professional service.
* High quality, creative, original and stylish design!
* Products that are free of errors and malfunctions - I will correct any errors to your project free of charge. Please don't let another designer/friend/relative/slave edit my work. To do so will void your warranty and I will have to charge you to fix it.
* I will see your project thru from inception to execution - I will work with you until you have the finished project that you desire!
* I will always respect your privacy - I feel that this is important when choosing a designer. I will never divulge any of your personal information or "secrets".

Copyright:

*You own the copyright to your finished product once you have paid for it in full. I retain the copyright until payment has been made in full. 
* I will not reproduce or resell your product.
* While you own the copyright of your finished product. I retain and own all intellectual property such as creative process, unmerged images and working files. These files will  not be included in your finished product zip file. Please understand that these files are important to me as a designer and this is nonnegotiable.

Acceptance:

*By hiring me and submitting your payment/deposit you are agreeing to the above terms of service. serenastuff reserves the right to update these terms at anytime.
